As President Obama pushes for HEALTH CARE REFORM, there are some who simply will not give up their racist attitudes, unjust actions, and over-zealous policemen. During the same week that a white policeman unjustly arrested PROFESSOR HENRY L. GATES at Harvard and many in the media went crazy...and the headlines about the arrest made the issues of HEALTH CARE REFORM seem like dispute involving kindergarteners in the principal's office.
And simultaneously there were some who were emailing this cartoon ....about Obama's proposals to reform HEALTH CARE:
President Obama made some comments about the actions of the Police and since that day...some have tried to dis-place blame on the President for truthfully stating: "The policeman acted stupidly."
And they did. "STUPID" is putting it mildly. The police were not concerned about a "robbery" and did not seek to search around Prof. Gates' house to see if there had been a break-in, or if there were any signs of other people being on the property. The policeman instead chose to harass Prof. Gates. And then he arrested him in his own home without cause.
Officer Crowley admits that he arrested Prof. Gates because this cop... "did not like what Gates was saying..."
WHAT HAPPENED TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH?
THERE IS NO LAW AGAINST EXPRESSING ONE'S OPINION IN YOUR OWN HOME.
There has been an abundance of negative, foul, racist cartoons, graphics, emails and other false allegations about Pres. Obama....using -- MONKEYS, GORILLAS, WATERMELONS, etc. Who has apologized to Obama?
And another sad thing about all of this BIGOTRY...is that many of the white perpetrators claim that "it was not racist."

This mayor thought the picture was funny...and like others -- "did not think it was racist against African-Americans." (so he said).

FOX NEWS and Sean Hannity have had a heavy hand in spreading lies about Senator Obama and stoking the fires of racism. There have been violence and other acts of hatred connected with the McCain-Palin Campaign.

McCAIN, PALIN, some conservatives, and other "white racists" have been demeanizing Obama and agitating the hateful lies and slander...
PLUS-- ONE OF THE WORST THINGS THAT John McCain has said is this....
During the PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES... the candidates were asked...
"How will the economic recession effect their proposed programs?"
McCain responded that ...."...I might have to call for a FREEZE ON SPENDING on everything but the military."
There are some conservative groups -- namely those who follow RON PAUL and/or PAT ROBERTSON -- who promote the idea that a "secret conspiracy" is in the works to set up a corrupt and cruel "New World Order."
For Black people...the NWO has already existed. Consider the fact that African-Americans have had to fight at every moment to secure the normal rights assured to citizens by the U.S. Constitution. REMEMBER events during the Civil Rights Movement (1965) -- called: "BLOODY SUNDAY"...where the police beat hundreds of Black protesters in Selma, AL --over unjust and racist voting practices.

Senator Obama has already launched a counter-attack against McCain and Bush over the fabricated "voter fraud" tales that they are spreading. Keith Olbermann talked with an Obama campaign attorney about this brilliant strategy by the campaign -- they are linking the ACORN/DOJ scandal with the U.S. Attorney firing scandal. If you will recall, several of the improperly fired attorneys were let go primarily because they wouldn't play along with Rove/GOP demands that they prosecute bogus voter fraud cases.

Senator Barack Obama became the first BLACK MAN to earn the nomination of a major political party for President of the U.S.A. Although this was a wonderful HISTORIC TIME in political events for the U.S.--causing many older Black Americans to cry -- not everyone was happy.
ONE EXAMPLE -- Nasty phone calls that U. S. REP. Clyburn...(black man) received because of his endorsement of Obama. Yes, these WHITE AMERICAN CHRISTIANS.... were calling the Capital offices and saying all kinds of RACIST FOUL THINGS....to him.
SILLY SEASON IN POLITICS: The April 2008 DEBATE in Pennsylvania is a great illustration of how far many of the news pundents, reporters, commentators and others have strayed from addressing the issues that really effect the public. ABC News commentators spent at least 45 min. asking petty questions before ever mentioning anything that is seriously effecting the American people.

DOUBLE STANDARDS: These PETTY, UNFOUNDED DISTRACTIONS, TWISTED attacks and trumped up "CONTROVERSY" over Obama's comments about -- "...people are bitter" -- are nothing but ploys by Hillary and McCain to deflect and distort the issues. Hillary and McCain are just trying to distort Obama as "elite" and "out of touch " -- when both of them have been taking money from LOBBYISTS despite the problems caused by these lobbyists. They are playing some foul politics to try to make Obama look bad....
In fact, racist cartoons have gone so far over the edge that recently HEATED CONTROVERSY was stirred up...when THE NEW YORKER printed a very offensive and outrageous cover --featuring racist, foul caricatures of Senator Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.
Obama is the first BLACK MAN to become the nominee for President of a major political party. A highly educated man, attorney, Christian, father of 2 girls, and U.S. Senator -- and yet -- the racist attacks persist. He has been subjected to a continuous pathetic onslaught of foul racist accusations, slander and lies.
THIS MAGAZINE COVER CAUSED A FIRESTORM OF CRITICISM....
In addition to this outrageously foul and ridiculous magazine cover -- the story inside does not connect with it. Millions of people protested that the cover is NOT funny and is very offensive. It was no more "comical" than the sick comments that Don Imus made about the women's basketball team. The Obama camp slammed it.
