WHY ARE THEY FOCUSING ON OBAMA?
Although most Americans are upset over the financial recession -- they realize that Pres. Obama did not cause it. Ignorance of the facts has led some people to act out at Town Hall meetings...because they were listening to some twisted ideas promoted by right wing nut pundents on TV -- mostly FOX NEWS.
However, too many people in the Conservative "Tea Party" movement also have ties to Neo-Confederates, the KKK, Neo-Nazis and similar white power groups. They are entrenched in the idea and mind-set that Black people are not qualified to run the country...and thus, nearly anything and everything that Obama proposes or will propose -- they will attack it.
They cover up some of the racism with their arguments about "policy disputes" -- but a great deal of the argument and attacks are rooted in racism against BLACK PEOPLE. Surely they can "disagree with policies" without the ugly, vile signs calling Obama the "N-WORD," racist cartoons with the monkeys & watermelons -- or the guns at meetings.
Although it is true that past presidents have been attacked for various reasons -- those attacks were not nearly as vicious or tinged with racist comments as the ones we have witnessed recently coming from "TEA PARTY PROTESTERS." Some of the signs that they carried -- had very clear racist statements on them.
Pulitzer Prize winner Eugene Robinson published some articles in which he states that he believes many of these attacks have racist roots. He agrees with former President Carter. Cosby and Pelosi are all CORRECT. However, Obama seemed reluctant to admit that there is a racist element involved in the attacks. Perhaps Pres. Obama does not want to admit that there is a racial problem. Pres. Obama is a kind, educated, classy man -- and apparently does not realize how sick some of these white-right-wing nuts are.
Where were the TEA PARTY PROTESTERS for the past 8 years when the Republicans were getting us into unnecessary wars, permitting big corporations to ship jobs out of the country, and allowing WALL STREET to screw up the economy?

John McCain and the Republicans have been constantly attacking Barack Obama....twisting and spinning almost everything that Obama says. McCain issued escalating rhetoric against Obama the entire time that Obama was over-seas in Iraq and Afghanistan. a) Why would AL GORE "plot" to create a scheme to get us to pay a "CO2 tax"? He is not even a Government official. He would get the money...and there is no way that he would benefit from such a tax.
b) AL GORE is not the only person or expert who has expressed that pollution is destroying our environment. Thousands of scientists, experts, doctors (and others) support what he claims.
c) Many weird and unusual environmental problems have occurred within the past 15 years-- such as: bees disappearing, coral reefs at the bottom of the sea dying, heat waves & droughts in normally humid areas, polar ice caps melting....(etc.)
d) Those who complain about a NEW WORLD ORDER...and the Gov't poisoning us spraying chemicals in the sky... death by "chem-trails" -- or by the Gov't manipulating the weather-- ironically and simultaneously deny that POLLUTION is not harming the environment or causing GLOBAL WARMING.
e) Is it an interesting coincidence (or quiet conspiracy)-- that most of the people who complain about a NEW WORLD ORDER...are also members of the same political party that resists doing anything to protect the environment...that slanders Al Gore and other environmentalists all the time???? --- they are REPUBLICANS.
f) RON PAUL has advocated all sorts of "conspiracies theories" -- that claim that--- almost every other political group-- liberals, Blacks, Jews, gays, environmentalists, and big business -- are culprits in an attempt to kill off most of the population, to rob us, or to do other devious things to people. NOT ALL GOVERNMENTAL PROBLEMS are created equal. We are not implying that the Gov't is totally innocent of some of the complaints. Yes, our Gov't has certainly had problems and been guilty of some wrongs. Because of the fact that big corporations have taken over a lot of the power in Washington, D.C. -- a major imbalance of power has developed. Some politicians have been corrupt and have cheated the people in one way or another. But we are saying that -- not all of the wrong-doing was generated by the same sources...
FOR EXAMPLE:
(1) Freemasons are no more responsible for problems created by the Ku Klux Klan -- than Obama is responsible for the recent high gas prices.
(2) Scientists have clearly proven that pollution has done damage to our environment-- including: putting a hole in the Ozone, causing fish to die, and creating acid rain.
MOST OF WHAT THEY ARE SO ALARMED ABOUT...is not based upon true facts. Or if there are some limited facts to support their contentions.... ultimate research reveals exaggerations and faulty resources. THE MAIN POINT OF ALL OF THIS TWISTING AND SPINNING is to convince us that the Government wants to tax us too much and then kill us. Some of the followers are true racists...and others just have a beef against the Government. Libertarians may have some good ideas about keeping the spending under control, but they also would deny spending money for GOOD CAUSES too...such as: EDUCATION and ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTIONS.
POLITICS contribute to the worsening social problems:
Millions of Americans do not have health care insurance. This is a problem that is part and parcel of a long-term situation of corruption within the INSURANCE INDUSTRY. Long considered among the most loyal of Bush's assistants, McClellan (WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY) writes that the president was 'not open and forthright' about the Iraq war. He writes that Bush invaded Iraq for the purpose of "changing the Middle East" to our way of democracy...not because of WMDs. In fact, it is quite curious that because some of the groups that they make vicious claims against -- do use the old Egyptian symbols or Jewish star-- they wantonly claim that those who wear an Ankh, or display a pyramid are involved in the NWO CONSPIRACY. There are really two disparate groups to whom the limited-government message appeals: philosophical libertarians (which consists of a tiny percentage of Americans), and those who hold a deep grudge against the federal government based on a range of nutty conspiracy theories, ranging from old chestnuts like a freemason conspiracy, a Council on Foreign Relations/Bildeberger conspiracy, or a conspiracy to strip the U.S. of its sovereignty in favor of world government; to variations on old anti-Semitic themes (ranging from domination by Zionist conspirators to domination by Jewish bankers led by the Rothchilds to domination by Jews in Hollywood); to newer racist theories; to novel conspiracy theories about 9/11, the pharmaceutical industry, etc.
RON PAUL and his supporters complain that there was... "secret involvement of the U.S. Gov't" in the toppling of the W.T.C. on 9-11. It is one of the central points of the NWO conspiracy theories. In all of their attacks upon "the elite" ... the CFR --and "big Jewish bankers" -- etc.-- seldom (hardly ever) do we hear any mention of groups--such as: THE FBI, CIA, etc. -- or those white racist gangs who have clearly, PUBLICLY caused major problems...such as: Nazis...the Ku Klux Klan, Neo-Nazis, the White Citizens Council...or any of the White Supremacist groups.
Some of these supporters and cult-members have given up their jobs and sent lots of money to RON PAUL...which is their right. They are quick to ask others to "donate a lot of free time...and their hard-earned money." And many of them do little more than sit at their computers promoting MLM deals...and sending out slanderous emails against Obama -- -- and they are adamantly pushing the RON PAUL REVOLUTION. In other words, true civic or political action is lacking. AND WORSE-- they also get terribly upset when other people are not as "enthused" about their movement as they are. Some will insult people or verbally attack them -- for saying anything that is not in line with the RON PAUL DOGMA. Some of their assertions about "government corruption" may be true, but some are also exaggerated or fabricated-- all of which is melded into a big ball of political dogma.
While it is quite clear that Barack Obama's father was a Black man (Negro) from Africa...and that he is bi-racial...some of these Libertarian fanatics have held major discussions on radio and blogs--as to the man's "real race." The main thrust of these ridiculous conversations and assertions is to somehow change Obama into a more "acceptable race"...like WHITE.
And these are not the worst of the silly accusations that some of these supporters have claimed.

BLACK SOLDIERS FOUGHT IN EVERY WAR FOR THE U.S.A. SINCE 1776... FOR FREEDOM AND RIGHTS THAT THEY WERE NEVER FULLY GIVEN THEMSELVES!

are the BLACK PEOPLE who fought in wars for rights that
they have never been given themselves.
CITATION: "For distinguished devotion to duty, extraordinary courage and disregard for his own personal safety during the attack on the Fleet in Pearl Harbor, Territory of Hawaii, by Japanese forces on December 7, 1941. While at the side of his Captain on the bridge, Dorie Miller, despite enemy strafing and bombing and in the face of a serious fire, assisted in moving his Captain, who had been mortally wounded, to a place of greater safety, and later manned and operated a machine gun directed at enemy Japanese attacking aircraft until ordered to leave the bridge."
The Tuskegee Airmen were elite flyboy boys in WWII, whose exploits went unheralded for over 60 years.

THERE ARE MANY "UNSUNG HEROES and SHEROES"
IN THE BLACK COMMMUNITY ---
* Teachers who taught in segregated or poor inner city schools.
* WARRIORS...like Sojourner Truth, Frederick Douglass, Harriet Tubman, Dr. M.L. King, Thurgood Marshall, Malcolm X, Angela Davis, etc.-- who fought the battle for "equal rights" here at home in the U.S.A. Advocates who led marches for Civil Rights and Equality...
* Students who helped desegregate public schools --walking into historically "white schools" -- with military guards" -- for "equal rights" and following: Brown vs. Board of Educ.
* Parents who raised good children despite Jim Crow Laws, poverty & injustices.
* Inventors, writers, actors, artists, musicians and others who improved society...without much pay.
MANY Black leaders, achievers, and "movers-&-shakers" have done
great things to help this nation and others-- and received little recognition,
little pay (if any)--- often having to fight against the cops, the laws, the Courts
and the Gov't or with little to no respect from white society or fancy honors
for their great contributions.
We also honor older Black Americans...such as--
Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who served as a U.S. Marine --
but has been unfairly degraded & slandered by
"white news pundents" --because he "complained."

AUTHOR MELVIA MILLER'S FATHER served in the
racially segregated ranks of the U.S. Navy during WWII

Melvin had 3 brothers who also served in the U. S. Military.
Elizabeth had one sister, whose husband served in the Air Force.
He and his wife Elizabeth were both born in 1925. They managed to
raise 4 children in Muncie, IN... and have many grandchildren... despite
the racial discrimination, Jim Crow, and racial injustices. This alone is
a major accomplishment and worthy of praise. He was a policeman and
plumber, she was a fantastic fashion designer and seamstress.
Melvia Miller is the oldest daughter of these 2 fine people --and
she is author of more than a dozen books, and she wrote a novel that
captures much of this experience of "growing up black in America"
--- titled: MIDDLETOWN ROOTS.
